Career
After completing his graduation, Ramesh, along with his friends, started performing on the drama stage. He was working as an actor for almost 22 years. He appeared in many Malayalam TV serials and films. At the time of his death, he was shooting for a TV serial. In 2021, he was shooting for the Malayalam film ‘Varaal’ directed by the South Indian director Kannan Thamarakulam. He considered the famous South Indian TV serial director Dr. Jaanradhanan his mentor.
Death
On 11 September 2021, he was found hanging from the washroom’s ceiling fan of his residence at Valiyasalai, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala around 6:30 am. Reportedly, he was in a financial crisis due to the COVID-19 lockdown. His wife was the first person who saw him hanging. While talking to the reporters, the local police said,
It is an unnatural death and the reason behind his suicide is the financial issues. He is running too short and faces a loss in his business due to the covid-19 or pandemic. We sent his body to the morgue of the medical college hospital. For the confirmation whether its’ a murder or suicide. He was living with his second family it includes his second wife and a son. The residence is at Valiyashala.”
