Career
Seemi Pasha started her career as a model and worked the runway for various renowned designers in Pakistan including Tapu Javeri, Arif Mahmood, Arshad Tareen and Rooha Ghaznavi. After recognising Seemi’s ability to act, Ghazanfar Ali, a Pakistani drama producer introduced Seemi Pasha to Najmuz Zama and helped her to mark her acting debut under Najmuz Zama’s projects. Thereafter, Seemi worked in a few acting projects but was gaining as much recognition for her work and disappeared from the industry for some time.

Seemi Pasha made her comeback in the entertainment industry in 2005 with the music video ‘Saali’ by Shehzad Roy. She received huge critical acclaim for her acting skills in the music video.

After the huge success of ‘Saali,’ Seemi appeared in drama serial ‘Lahasil’ opposite Noman Ijaz and Fahad Mustafa aired on Hum Tv in 2007. Seemi played the character of a stepmother in the drama show and gained huge popularity. Thereafter, she appeared in various popular shows including ‘Noorpur Ki Rani,’ ‘Phir Chand Pe Dastak’ as Mira, ‘Sanjha’ as Shabo, ‘Shehr-e-Zaat’ as Nusrat Ansar, ‘Mera Pehla Pyar’ as Zarva, ‘Kahi Unkahi’ as Naila, and many more.’
Television serials that proved to be the breakthrough for Seemi’s career were ARY Digital’s ‘Mera Saaein 2’ and Hum TV’s ‘Shehr-e-Zaat.’ She rose to fame after delivering super hit performances in the shows and thereafter became part of several commercially successful drama serials including ‘Kahi Unkahi’ as Naila, ‘Mere Meherbaan’ as Naima, ‘Tere Mere Beech’ as Surrahya, ‘Laut Ke Chalay Aana’ as Shamim, and many more. Seemi is a versatile actor who has aced positive as well as negative roles with her acting skills.
