Career
He started his career as a theatre artist and performed in various popular Gujarati theatre plays. In 2011, he debuted as an actor in the Hindi short film ‘Kalapaani’ in which he played a small role.
He debuted as an actor in the Gujarati films with ‘Kevi Rite Jaish’ (2012) in which he played the role of Harish Bachubhai Patel.
In the same year, he played the role of Aamir Maqvi in the English language Indian film ‘Chanakya Speaks’ (2012).
Some of his popular Gujarati films as an actor are ‘Bey Yaar’ (2014), ‘Khaatti Meethi Setting’ (2016), and ‘Chasani’ (2019).
In 2017, he appeared in the ALTBalaji Hindi web series ‘Boygiri’ in which he played the role of Pragnesh Wakharia.
In 2022, he made his debut as a director-writer in the Hindi film ‘Jayeshbhai Jordaar’ starring Ranveer Singh, Shalini Pandey, and Boman Irani.
He has also featured in a few TV commercials like Amul Lassi.

- In an interview, he shared the fact of how he developed an interest in acting. He said,
I was only four years old then, and I had goosebumps watching seasoned actors on the stage. I wanted to be on the stage and act. And then, I debuted on stage at the age of 17 with professional theatre!”

- He used to work as an actor during the day and did night shifts at a call centre during his struggling days.

Watching Naseeruddin Shah, who is my role model, is awe-inspiring. He is just so natural in front of the camera. Also, during Kevi Rite Jaish, I learnt a lot from Anang Desai and Tom Alter. Acting is a two-way process and it’s important to make your fellow actors feel comfortable. And these people do it really well.”
