Shilpi Raj is an Indian singer. She is well-known for working in the Bhojpuri music industry. She started her singing career with the Bhojpuri music album “Bhukur Bhukur,” released in 2017. Some other Bhojpuri songs in which she has sung are ‘Laika Pahilka Ha’ (2020), ‘Neeli Neeli Akhiyan’ (2020), ‘Du Hajara Leke Aaja Stage Pa’ (2020) and many more.

Shilpi Raj was born on Monday, 25 March 2002 (age 20 years; as of 2022) in Deoria, Bhatparani, Uttar Pradesh. She studied at a government school in Deoria, Bhatparani, Uttar Pradesh, from where she completed her 10th standard. She did her 12th standard from Chhapra, Siwan. She was born into a very poor family. Because of the financial problems, her mother has to work very hard to teach Shipli and her siblings. Shipli first sang in a singing competition held in her school and after getting appraisals from friends, she developed an interest in singing. While studying, she started singing in other schools and became more popular.

In 2017, she debuted as a singer in the song “Bhukur Bhukur.” The song turned out to be a hit track and since then, she never looked back. She has starred in several Bhojpuri super hit item songs opposite many popular Bhojpuri stars including Pawan Singh, Arvind Akela, and Khesari Lal Yadav. In 2020, she has worked on some popular hits including ’10 Go Yaar,’ ‘Saheliya Nu Re,’ ‘Chhoti Tohara Choti Se Chot Lagata,’ and ‘Hailojan Projan Me Baar Debu Ka.’ Some of her hits released in 2021 are ‘Bhatar Tohar Rowat Hoi,’ ‘Apni To Jaise Taise,’ ‘Aawa Likh Ke Dedi Panna Par,’ and ‘Janu Ja Sahi.’

Controversies
- In May 2022, MMS video went viral due to which she started trending on Google. Regarding the video, she later claimed that the girl in the video was not her. In an interview, she said that she doesn’t know who was the girl in the video. Someone just pulled a cheap trick on her to defame her by releasing the video.
