Sachin Bishnoi, also known as Sachin Thapan Bishnoi , is an Indian criminal, who is associated with the Lawrence Bishnoi Gang. He is known for being the nephew of the popular Indian gangster Lawrence Bishnoi. Reportedly, he was involved in the gruesome killing of the famous Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala in the Mansa district of Punjab on 29 May 2022.

Sidhu Moosewala’s Murder Case
On 29 May 2022, the popular Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala was shot dead by some unidentified assailants in Punjab’s Mansa district. A few hours after his death, a Canada-based gangster named Goldy Brar took to his Facebook account to take the responsibility for Moosewala’s murder. In his post, he wrote that he, along with Lawrence Bishnoi and Sachin Bishnoi, take the responsibility of Moosewala’s murder. Later, Lawrance also took to Facebook to confirm that he, along with Goldy and Sachin, was behind the murder of the popular singer Sidhu Moosewala. Afterwards, Sachin made a virtual call to a media channel and claimed that he had killed Sidhu with his own hands. When the media person asked him if the act was a publicity stunt, Sachin while denying it said that it was instead an act of revenge for their brothers Vikramjit Singh Middukhera and Gurlal Brar. Reportedly, Vicky Middukhera was killed in the parking lot of sector 71, SAS Nagar (Mohali), on 7 August 2021, and Gurlal Brar was shot dead outside a nightclub in Industrial Area Chandigarh on 11 October 2022. Sachin during his conversation claimed that Vicky’s and Gurlal’s murderers belonged to the Kaushal gang, and the persons arrested in the case had revealed that Moosewala was also connected with the murders. He said,
gangsters caught in the case belonged to the Kaushal gang and all had revealed Moose Wala’s name.”
In the same conversation, when asked about his relation with Goldy Brar, Sachin said,
He is our brother. His brother was also murdered by these people.”
On being asked how the sophisticated weapons used to fire at Moose Wala were acquired, Bishnoi denied revealing their source and said,
We don’t tell their names, we have more dangerous weapons, which people must have seen in Hollywood movies.”
Sachin alleged that his opponent gang has threatened to kill the Punjabi singer Mankirat Aulakh within two days. Issuing a warning for them, he said,
But threatening doesn’t do anything. There are those who do nothing, but we are going to kill the other gang members soon.”
During the same conversation, when asked abut his next target, Bishnoi refused to reveal his name and said that the information would be out soon. Later, he took to Facebook to claim the murder of Sidhu Moosewala.

After Bishnoi’s remarks, the Punjab government formed a Special Investigating Team (SIT) team to look into the matter. During the media conversation, a police official said,
We are looking into the purported remarks made by Sachin Thapan Bishnoi. We neither confirm nor deny the remarks. But, yes, he is a suspect.”
