Apparently, Zilis and Musk had filed a plea in the court to get the names of their twins changed; they urged the court to add Musk’s last name to the names of their kids, and also to add Zilli’s last name as their middle name. After the news of Musk’s secret twins surfaced online, Elon made a tweet showing his support for large families. He tweeted,

Doing my best to help the underpopulation crisis. A collapsing birth rate is the biggest danger civilization faces by far. I hope you have big families and congrats to those who already do.”

On Twitter, Zilis often shows her support for Musk. She often responds to Musk’s tweets, agreeing to his comments on subjects like utopia, zero-sum games, and humanity. Once, she even switched her timeline on Twitter to a reverse chronological view, an act Musk has advocated for. In 2020, Shivon made a tweet in favor of Elon after Musk was criticized for his decision to move Tesla out of California due to the Covid-19 restrictions. Responding to a hate tweet from Lorena Gonzalez Fletcher, a member of the California State Assembly, Shivon Zilis wrote,

This makes me sad. No one’s perfect but I’ve never met anyone who goes through more personal pain to fight for an inspiring future for humanity – and has done so tirelessly for decades. Everyone’s entitled to their opinion but mine is that there’s no one I respect and admire more.”
