Poonam Joshi made her acting debut in the TV series Kasautii Zindagii Kay (2001) where she played the role of the lead’s best friend, Jyoti. In 2003, she appeared in the thriller anthology ‘Kya Hadsaa Kya Haqeeqat.’ From episode 48 to episode 73, she appeared as Pragati.
