He studied at the Ravindra Nath Tagore Inter College (2007-2009) in Bahraich, Uttar Pradesh. He pursued his Bachelor of Arts degree in English Language and Literature (General) at Barkatullah University (2009-2012) in Bhopal. According to Aatm Prakash, he did his graduation from the Madhya Pradesh School of Drama. Aatm Prakash has done an internship in theatres for a year. He completed his master’s in performing arts and theatre at the University of Mumbai (2014-2017). Reportedly, in 2009, Aatm Prakash Mishra left his hometown, Bahraich, to pursue acting.

    It was quite amazing and unexpected. The credit goes to my uncle, who sent me to Bhopal from a small town, Bahraich in Uttar Pradesh. I did theatre for one-and-a-half years with my first mentor Alok Chatterji. Bhopal taught me a lot in four years. After which I came to Mumbai, went through the audition process and got work.
