Controversy
In 2022, Kamal was arrested by the police on charges of an attempt to murder. In a video that went viral on social media, he was seen ramming his car over his wife. The incident was recorded on 19 October 2022 in the parking lot of Samukh Heights, opposite Heera Panna mall in Oshiwara. His wife Yasmeen filed a complaint and accused him of cheating on her with a model. His wife got injuries to both her legs, right hand and head. He was charged under sections 279 (rash driving) and 337 (causing hurt by act endangering life or personal safety of others) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) as well as sections 134 A and B of the Motor Vehicles Act for rushing away from the spot without rendering help or informing the police.
