In 2011, Riva Arora made her debut with Imtiaz Ali’s musical romantic drama film “Rockstar.” Later, Riva appeared in many films including ‘Mom’ (2017) as Piyaa Sabarwal, ‘Uri: The Surgical Strike’ (2019) as Suhani Kashyap, ‘Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl’ (2020) as young Gunjan, and many more.

Controversy


Trolled for featuring romantically with 38-year-old Karan Kundrra in a promotional music video


Reportedly, Riva Arora was criticised for being appeared with Karan Kundrra in a romantic video considering her age; the video got viral in October 2022. The netizens trolled Karan Kundrr and targeted Riva’s parents for allowing her to feature in such videos and claimed that Riva’s real age is being kept a secret. Riva’s mother, Nisha, however, took it to Instagram and declared all such allegations false. Nisha Arora wrote,


I was calm, but not anymore. The allegations on my daughter’s age are completely false and it’s a saying that false news travels faster then ever and many reputed social media channel proved it. It is sad to see and disheartening for me. Atleast you should have cross checked with me before upload on reputed pages. My daughter is an actor and working in industry since years (sic).”
