Saloni Pawar was born on Monday, 20 September 1999 (age 23; as of 2022) in Thane, Mumbai. Her zodiac sign is Virgo. During an interview, Saloni said that her brother was fond of video games. One day, she started playing Counter-Strike 1.6 out of boredom and got fascinated by it. According to her brother, she scored very well and that is when Saloni realised she should play more.

She started playing video games at the age of 13. It was the beginning of her career when Saloni played Counter Strike 1.6. Later, she played other games including Road rash, GTA Vice City, and Far Cry. In 2013, she created her YouTube channel and when she was 16 years old, Meow16k started live streaming on Twitch. During an interview, while talking about Saloni’s screen time, she said,
I play for approx. 4 hours every day. I share my system with my brother so I have to limit its use as he needs to work on it most of the time.”

Saloni ‘Meow16k’ Pawar represented India with her team GE. Rayne, all-female Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS: GO) division, in Lenovo Legion of Valkyrie 2019 held in Thailand. Their team secured the second position in the competition and won prize money of USD 3000.
