Career
While studying in school, Shrikant aspired to be an actor and actively participated in stage plays and dramas. In an interview, Shrikant revealed that his parents were not in favour of his decision of pursuing a career as an actor, but for a few years, he continued to act in various stage plays and theatrical productions without coming to their notice.

Film
In 2014, Shrikant made his Bollywood debut with the film Ankhon Dekhi in which he played the role of Master Ji.
In 2015, he appeared in the film Dum Laga Ke Haisha as Shakha Babu, starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Bhumi Pednekar.

Later, he played supporting roles in the films like Batti Gul Meter Chalu (2018) as Pandhar Prasad, Halkaa (2018) as Pushpender, Ramprasad Ki Tehrvi (2019) as Basant, Kya Meri Sonam Gupta Bewafa Hai (2021), and Helmet (2021) as Gupta on ZEE5. In 2022, Shrikant appeared in three films, Laal Singh Chaddha as the sports coach, Chakki as Bada Babu, and Aye Zindagi as Mr Sharma.

Web series
In 2020, Shrikant Verma made his digital debut with the web series Panchayat in which he played the role of Parmeshwar on Amazon Prime Video.
